Bank Holiday weekend saw Conor, Ciaran, Jacob and Alan head to Suir Valley, Tipperary for the 3 day International Race. The race was open to A3 + with majority of the country’s best A1/A2 riders taking part.

Saturday saw the guys covering over 113.2 km with the pace heading out of Clonmel at 70kmh, and climbing 2 x Cat 2 and 1 x Cat 3 Climbs

Sunday brought 2 Stages with the morning race covering 93.8km with 3 x Cat 2 climbs. The much anticipated 3rd stage crit became a bit of a wash out tonight when torrential rain caused a complete rethink on the classification and duration of this stage. Having decided that provided every rider completed 15mins of the stage, there would be no impact on the general classification if any rider decided that they didn’t want to risk finishing the stage.

Monday would be the test for the guys with a finish on the Nire Climb (approx 8km) and included the climb of The Vee approx 50km into the race, race distance 123.5kmh

From all at CRC we are very proud of all riders and a very well done.
