Club League race 2 – CP, Rathcore Circuit

Results and race report courtesy of Paul Kavanagh:

Round 2 of the 2014 league took place on what turned out to be a dry windy evening.

We had a total of 36 Riders with 6 groups. There was a total time gap of 19 minutes between the first and last group. The time was closed by almost 6 minutes on the first lap in which Brad led the way through Rathcore. On the second lap into Rathcore things were really hotting up as all the groups were closing fast on one another, reducing the time to less than 5 minutes.

On the third lap the Scratch group and semi scratch joined and caught up with the other groups except for the Leading  group with Sandra Mary and Justin, who remained ahead until the finish.

It was a great race and thanks to all who attended and the marshals who helped.
